The 8th Brazilian Post-Harvest Conference, organized by ABRAPOS, took place from October 24 to 26 in the city of Rio Verde. This year's central theme revolved around "Grain Post-Harvest Management for Agribusiness Sustainability".
This event brought together leading experts in the field with the aim of fostering debate on the challenges and progress related to post-harvest in Brazil, with the valuable support of the COMIGO Cooperative. In addition to addressing various topics related to post-harvest, one of the notable lectures featured Dr. Adriano Olnei Mallmann, who discussed the impact of mycotoxins on animal nutrition.
During the event, the Pegasus Science team had the opportunity to meet renowned industry experts, as well as leading researchers from Embrapa.
Last week, we attended the 14th Congress of the World Mycotoxin Forum, held this year in Antwerp, Belgium, 9-11 October 2023. The event featured a series of lectures by renowned researchers, along with the exhibition of scientific papers via posters. It was an excellent opportunity to keep up to date with the latest research in the field of mycotoxins.
On September 26 and 27, another training program on mycotoxins was held for various companies in the agribusiness sector in Brazil. This event was attended by a diverse technical team, including production facility managers, nutritionists and quality control professionals. The training was supported by the technical team from the Laboratory of Mycotoxicological Analyses (LAMIC), covering topics related to the importance, diagnosis and control of mycotoxins. In addition, PEGASUS SCIENCE presented new tools for analyzing and interpreting mycotoxicological results. During the course, there was also a guided tour of the LAMIC Laboratory.
