On the 23rd and 24th of March, training on mycotoxins was held for several companies in the Brazilian agribusiness sector. The event was attended by a vast technical team including plant managers, nutritionists and quality control. On the first day of training, the technical team from the Laboratory of Mycotoxicological Analyses (LAMIC) addressed topics related to the importance, diagnosis and control of mycotoxins. New tools for analysis and interpretation of mycotoxicological results presented by the company PEGASUS SCIENCE were also presented. During the training, a guided tour of the LAMIC Laboratory was also carried out. On the last day, the team of Analytical, Microbiological and Technological Solutions (SAMITEC) carried out the mycotoxins clinic through necropsies and evaluation of characteristic lesions in production animals.
